Vikrant Massey aka Shyam of Balika Vadhu is down after being repeatedly thrashed by both Suguna’s family and also by his father for marrying a widow on the show.

During the shooting of the scene, people who were ‘thrashing’ him got so excited that they got a bit too violent and poor Vikrant got hit rather badly. “Yes, I actually got hurt during the shot, but managed to give it my best. I thought I wouldn’t be able to shoot after canning the scene, but thankfully the injuries weren’t as bad as I had expected. And thank God, the scene was wrapped in one take only!” According to Vikrant.
